David Gerhard was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area where he received a BA in Communications and a BA in Studio Art, with Honors from Sonoma State University. He earned a Masters of Fine Art in Visual Art, with an emphasis in printmaking from Clemson University in December 2013. His prints, drawings, videos and new media art have been exhibited and collected internationally and locally including exhibitions in London, Wales, Latvia, Estonia, Shanghai, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Detroit, and South Carolina’s Upstate. David Gerhard has taught courses and workshops at Clemson University and Anderson University.
