Khalil Charif (b.1967, Rio de Janeiro) began his artistic education in the scenic art in 1985, when he took part of a theatrical company for a few years. In late 90's, while living in New York City, attended Parsons School and NYU. Afterwards, studied at Parque Lage School of Visual Arts, obtained a post-graduate degree in Art History, and further studies in Art-Philosophy. His work field follows the art media that best respond to the specificity of project or idea in which he is immerse - that has been mostly in videoart, performance and photography, among others. Have participated in several exhibitions and festivals, including: “Low Lives 4”, USA, 2012. “60n Os International Film Festival”, Norway, 2012.
