Fernando G. Pliego [Spain]
Graduated in Information Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid in 1995 he works as a programmer since 2001. Being himself both an amateur photographer and writer he returns in 2010 to the audiovisual world that has little to do with what he left 15 years before. Trained as a director assistant director and illuminator at Metropolis Academy in Madrid. In 2011 he directed his first short film "Sangre para el donar" based on a tale written by himself and also helped as a camera operator in the film "Vivir soñando" directed by Javier López Velasco. While preparing the script for "La lección de hoy" which he eventually directs in May 2012 he also directs "¿Me oyes?" (2011) a screenplay by the actress and poet Fátima Delgado. In 2013 he wrote and directed "Asco" he helped in production tasks in "Dual" short film directed by Rocío González and he also co-directed "En el espejo" a Fátima Delgado's project. In 2014 he writes and directs "Foto de familia" a drama in black and white; from 2015 is "¿Cómo te gusta?", a small piece about manipulation and daily violence.
